MyCitadel is a payment system which operates for Canadian customers like an eWallet.

There are a number of basic rules to keep in mind. Briefly, however, it works basically like this:

A Truepoker player can click on myCitadel to purchase chips. He is asked whether he has a myCitadel account or needs to create one.

IF YOU ARE A NEW myCitadel customer :

Creating a myCitadel account is not too difficult, you enter personal information, WHICH HAS TO MATCH YOUR INFORMATION AT TRUEPOKER, including your email address. You then are asked for banking information, because you are going to write a check electronically to myCitadel to fund you eWallet. In Canada you do need to have online banking.

What you are doing is funding his eWallet for the first time. First funding, as a new customer there is limited to $200, this is sued to you for use in a minute or two.

Non-US or Canadian customers may deposit/cashout in local currencies of GBP, Euros, in addition to USD. 

Once your check has cleared there, in a couple of days, the myCitadel limit goes up.

The player then goes back to the Truepoker cashier and clicks on "permission" to allow Truepoker to get money from myCitadel (this is a onetime requirement for his first purchase from Triuepoker), fills in how much, and that should be it.

IF YOU ARE an existing myCitadel customer already, from another gaming site:

You simply click on myCitadel as his payment method at Truepoker, writes a check electronically against your eWallet balance and give Truepoker permission to accept money. 

Possible stumbling blocks in the My Citadel process :

Here are some possible stumbling blocks for players:

1. The information from Truepoker MUST match the myCitadel information.  This includes email addresses. (myCitadel asks for some information Truepoker does not request, that doesn't seem to affect things in using MyCitadel from Truepoker, so long as what you have given Truepoker matches what MyCitadel has for those same items. )

2. This is NOT the product called Citadel Commerce. An existing Citadel Commerce customer must create a myCitadel account, just like everyone else.  

CASHOUTS:

Cashouts work like Neteller or Firepay, where the money goes back to your eWallet with MyCitadel. Cashouts will be submitted to MyCitadel and paid daily.

Upon receipt, we'll credit your True Poker account and send you an E-mail to confirm the transaction.

As an extra security precaution, we will also send you a Draft Identification Number that you will use to Cash Out (i.e. to get your deposit and/or profits back from True Poker).

There is no fee for depositing funds via Bank Draft. We credit your account with the full amount given.

What are the steps involved to open an account?



1. Canadian online bank accounts only




players must have an online bank accounts with at least one the following institutions:

2. Player clicks "Cashier" button then "UseMyBank" tab then "Sign-up for new account".

4. Player returns to True Poker and Click the "Cashier" button in top right corner of the display and then from the "Real Money" tab of the dialog displayed click the "Buy" button. Now just select the UseMyBank button from the payment options available then select "Use existing account" option.

5. Select the desired Bank account and the amount of money to be deposited into your True Poker account. 

Canadian customers may deposit/cashout in CAD, in addition to USD.

Deposited funds are yours alone:

The money you deposit in True Poker is yours to use while playing poker in our site. We simply host the games and charge a fee (rake) from each pot that exceeds a certain amount. This rake, or tournament fees, are our charge for our service.

We hold all player cash in separate accounts from our operating revenues.
